What are the pros and cons of using automated software for making an online portfolio?

What are the pros and cons of using automated software? I think there is no contradiction, am I right?
And what are the pros and cons of building your own from scratch?

first thing first…
Automated system would only function the way it has been programmed to work.. i.e all the formats available are stored into it for usage.

Now in case you want something more creative,something more customized…. then your problem starts coz automated system cannot are not as smart as humans..
so if you want something in particular, then its quite possible that an automated system will not satisfy your needs..as customization is not that easy.

But if you want to save time and thought then an automated system would be appropriate for you… All the automated systems are designed to fulfill basic requirements..

Building your own is harder and more work. But you get what you want, not what the person who wrote the automated software thought you should get.
