Does a user manual invariably tell you how to manually run a set of "automated test cases" ?

Does a user manual need to be automated, so that there is an automated test demonstarting each item in the user manual ?

A manual is only as good as the understanding and insight of the people who wrote it. I find that most of the time the people who write these things either don’t really understand it or do really understand it but don’t know who to help others understand it.
If they have it automated guideline, then there is a better chance that it’s accuracy is quite good. And hopefully in the end gives you the full understanding of what it is your actually doing. Thus the project objective is a success.

The need to write a user manual, with bullet marked instructions guaranteeing victory in life and workplace has yet to be written. Compliance and strict adherence does not systematically ensure success. many have attempted to write life manuals and all seem to fall short of the mark. Life constantly changes and requires individual appraisal whilst marinating an underlying constancy. Instructions manuals as guides require not only compete adherence but constant assessment and refocusing in accordance and as a reflection of life and living itself. Do no Harm, and unto others as warranted and expected.
