Where do I call to declare my Home Hardware credit card lost?

I’ve either lost my Home Hardware (think Canadian Home Depot or Ace Hardware) credit card somewhere in my apartment or it’s sleeping with the fishes from my vacation last week in the woods. I want to declare my card lost but the Home Hardware phoneline doesn’t list anything related to declaring my card lost or stolen. Did I miss a step on their automated phone line or do I call a completely different number?

Any Home Hardware employees or HH customers with their own cards know this one?

Call the number again and when it gives you options just hit "O". Or you can enter your card number wrong. You should get a live person and you can then report your card as lost or stolen. Good luck.

I have done this in the past.

Any service associate at your local hardware store will be able to cancel your credit card for you. It is a fairly easy process which involves calling the companies 1-800 number and answering a few security questions.
