How to use the Chilean/Spanish phrase "bueno para" in reference to someone being good at something?
Like if I wanted to say "You’re really good at it" or "You’re really good at your interpretations."
(¿Como se dice "You’re really good at interpreting" en Español?)
NO automated translators like Google, babble fish or any other online translation sites/answer please!
Or if there’s another phrase I can use, doesn’t have to be slang or Chilean, I just found this phrase and it doesn’t say how to use it, it just says: bueno para… something very often, be good at something
Gracias!
@An Unfortunate Slight: Gracias por su respuesta! Bacán! jeje.
Pregunta: what does cachar mean? interpret?
and the way you type "soi" not soy and "weeeeno" not bueno and pa’ not para, is that how most people type on the internet? i’ve seen k for que, so it’s acceptable?
Thanks again!
oh! and SECO- just one word, not add like eres SECO or something?
Tú soi muy weeeno pa’ cachar español!
jejejeje, well, that’s really chilean slang
but yes, we say "Eres bueno para interpretar español"
we also say "SECO", which literally means dry, but it means when someone is really good at something or knows a lot about a subject.
