A lot of folks who are just staring their blues guitar lesson, often speculate if a better choice would be using an electric guitar. That is a very valid question since many of the great blues guitarists are seen playing electric guitar or electric acoustic guitars.

The best answer to this question however, is play what ever you have available. Evening if you’re using an acoustic, you can do pretty much anything that’s done on an electric, with the exception of a few more advanced techniques.

At the beginning, it’s best not to over commit your finances to an expensive electric guitar. At least not until you are sure that you want to continue playing guitar and are focused on mastering the blues genre of music.

So relax and continue to dig into that blues guitar lessons. There will be plenty of time to spend cash later.
